Ethna Henning
Certificated Teacher
Ethna is a certificated teacher who graduated from the University of Calgary in 1988 with a Bachelor of Education majoring in Early Childhood Education.
She spent over a decade in the classroom teaching Grade One and Two. More recently, her teaching role was an Early Childhood Corrective Learning Teacher supporting both students with special needs, and their teachers.
Ethna is passionate about play-based early education and supporting the development of the whole child in a safe, fun and respectful atmosphere.
Ashly Black
Occupational Therapist
Ashly is an Occupational Therapist specializing in pediatrics. She graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Dean’s Honour List) from the University of Waterloo in 1999 and a Master of Clinical Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Western Ontario in 2002.
Ashly loves children and loves to play. Her particular clinical interests include play skill development, self-regulation, picky eating, anxiety and behavior.
Meredith Phelan
Facilitator
Meredith graduated from the University of Calgary in 2001 with a degree in Psychology (with Distinction). She is a trained Facilitator of Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) and Positive Discipline.
Meredith is dedicated to inclusive early intervention and understanding the adult/child dynamics in order to facilitate functional strategies in home and in the classroom.
